Mitchells & Butlers is a leading operator in the UK’s retail pub industry. Over the last 10 years, Atkins’ services to Mitchells & Butlers have evolved and we now provide ongoing support through asset management and procurement and supply chain consultancy, environmental consultancy, change and knowledge management and business intelligence reporting.

We have recently been involved in a strategic review of Mitchells & Butlers’ contractor base in order to introduce and evaluate new suppliers, increase competition and benchmark the services across a wider range of providers. Atkins drove the selection of the best suppliers and multi-skilled their maintenance teams. We aligned planned and reactive maintenance and introduced service management technology. We were instrumental in achieving an 11% reduction in costs.
