Atkins has a long and established history in the design and delivery of airport and port projects.
We have been involved in some of the world’s most prestigious airport projects including the design of all runways, taxiways and aprons for Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok Airport; Manchester Airport’s second runway; and more recently the development of a brand new airport on St Helena, a remote UK Overseas Territory. At London City Airport our airports team has been responsible for a number of key infrastructure projects including Operational Improvements, Runway Reconfiguration and Apron Development.
Our terminal design commissions include Tainjin International Airport, Beijing among other provincial airports in mainland China, Trivandrum International Airport in India and the Ethihad Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
